FOS helps support a healthy digestive system by nourishing beneficial bacteria and stimulating the growth of bifidobacteria in the colon. It helps maintain healthy bowel movement and gut comfort. Added benefit may be obtained by taking a probiotic bacteria such as Probio-Daily or Probio-Easy.
FOS can be used as a sweetener for drinks and baking, but will not convert to fat in the body as sugar would.
