Will GastroSoothe®† affect my blood pressure levels?
 
No. The long-term safety and efficacy of deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) has been clinically documented. In one study, participants took DGL for two years without evidence of adverse effects. While large amounts of licorice (>50 grams daily) have been known to alter blood pressure levels, in DGL, glycyrrhizin, the compound associated with high blood pressure, has been removed.
