Goldcare^® is a comprehensive formula of 23 nutrients and bioactive elements, scientifically developed for the special requirements of both men and women over the age of 50, because in later life nutritional needs change and become even more important. Research has shown that vitamins and minerals can help boost immunity in the over 50's and protect against infection. The right nutrition can also help prevent against memory loss, maintain energy levels and protect against poor circulation. Goldcare^® includes all the major vitamins and minerals including vitamins C and E, citrus bioflavonoids, and natural carotenoids, which may play an important role in protecting the body during mid and later life. Goldcare^® also contains iron, folic acid and vitamins B6 and B12 for healthy blood, as well as Ginkgo Biloba, which may help maintain memory and good circulation.

Goldcare^® is a daily nutritional safeguard for men and women in their 50's, 60's and beyond, to help maintain good health and vitality. There is no maximum length of time over which Goldcare^® may be used.

Generally, Goldcare^® may be used along-side other medications because it contains only moderate levels of vitamins and minerals, and it is free of any drugs or hormones. For specific advice on taking Goldcare^® with medicines, we recommend that you contact your doctor or pharmacist first.

One capsule per day is recommended, with or immediately after your main meal, with a full glass of water or a cold drink. Taking the capsule with a large meal maximises the absorption of the nutrients, and can reduce nausea, which is sometimes experienced if multivitamins are taken on an empty stomach. Goldcare^®should only be taken on a full stomach. Always ensure that Goldcare^®is taken with plenty of liquid to wash the capsule down, and not tea or coffee as this may cause the capsule to disintegrate too early.

Goldcare^® has no known side effects when taken as directed. Do not exceed the recommended capsule intake. In case of overdose, seek medical advice immediately.

Goldcare^® contains the following active ingredients as a nutritional safeguard per capsule: Vitamin A 900 mcg; Vitamin D (400 IU) 10 mcg; Vitamin E (natural source) 20 mg; Vitamin C 80 mg; Vitamin B1 12 mg; Vitamin B2 5 mg; Niacin 20 mg; Vitamin B6 20 mg; Folic Acid 500 mcg; Vitamin B12 20 mcg; Pantothenic Acid 10 mg; Iron 6 mg; Magnesium 75 mg; Zinc 15 mg; Iodine 130 mcg; Manganese 2 mg; Copper 1.2 mg; Boron 1 mg; Chromium 100 mcg; Selenium 150 mcg; Citrus Bioflavonoids 16 mg; Natural mixed carotenoids 3 mg; Ginkgo Biloba extract equivalent to 10 mg. Goldcare^® is free from artificial colourings, gluten, preservatives, starch, sugar, fat, salt and yeast. Goldcare^® has not been tested on animals.

Results vary amongst individuals, but in most cases we would expect the beneficial effects of the vitamins and minerals in Goldcare^® to build over several weeks, with noticeable results in one to three months. A regular intake is recommended.

Calcium is an essential mineral, and important for the maintenance of strong bones in both men and women, especially in later years. However, calcium has not been included in the Goldcare^® formula, since it is not possible to include the right amount in one small capsule, and secondly calcium is known to inhibit the absorption of iron and trace elements. Rather than including just a token amount of calcium, Goldcare^® has therefore been designed so that it can be used with Vitabiotics' Osteocare^® tablets, fizz or liquid. For best results we recommend they be taken at separate times of the day, at least an hour apart.
